Your kingdom is an everlasting kingdom, and your dominion endures through all generations. The Lord is trustworthy in all he promises and faithful in all he does. The Lord upholds all who fall and lifts up all who are bowed down. The eyes of all look to you, and you give them their food at the proper time. You open your hand and satisfy the desires of every living thing. ~ Psalm 145:13–16

A Season of waiting on God can be so hard. His timing feels off sometimes. It just does…even when we try really hard to believe his timing is perfect.

But we feel okay admitting that because it doesn’t mean we don’t trust him. We’re just choosing to be honest about our doubt, and to ask him to help us wait for the provision he has in store for us.

When waiting on God is hard, we try to reflect back on a time when God’s timing felt super off, but we found that it was actually spot on. Like, is anyone else just really grateful that God didn’t give them the spouse or job they first asked for? (please tell us it’s not just us!)

Today, we’re diving into this Scripture meditation all about the importance of waiting on God this season of Lent and how he provides (at the proper time). Check it out!

and lifts up all who are bowed down.

15 The eyes of all look to you,
and you give them their food at the proper time.

and satisfy the desires of every living thing.
