Philippians 4:10-13
10 I rejoiced greatly in the Lord that at last you renewed your concern for me. Indeed, you were concerned, but you had no opportunity to show it.
11 I am not saying this because I am in need, for I have learned to be content whatever the circumstances.
12 I know what it is to be in need, and I know what it is to have plenty. I have learned the secret of being content in any and every situation, whether well fed or hungry, whether living in plenty or in want.
13 I can do all this through him who gives me strength.

Life is like a boat out in open water. The boat gets a small hole in it, it starts taking on water. You start bailing out the water, and at first you can kept up but the hole in the boat gets bigger because you did not stop to repair it. You start taking on more water and you are bailing as fast as you can, but you can not keep up with the water. The water consumes the boat and it sinks.

This is how problems or sin starts out in our life. It starts out small and we try to manage it, and we work hard to try to control it, but the circumstances get bigger in our life and it over takes and consumes us. We did not stop and ask the Lord how we should have repair the situation from the beginning. When we realize that circumstances or the situation has become too big, we then stop and ask God to help us.
“I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me.”

Lord I pray that at the beginning of my problems, I stop and ask you to help me. Let me rely and trust in your guidance. Lord I know that you will help me work out all of my situations and will give me strength
