We entered the year 2022 with great hope. The Covid-19 pandemic seems to be under control. However, events in the last few months seem to have taken away that hope. Sri Lanka is now faced with many uncertainties on many fronts.

Hope is displaced by a sense of hopelessness, coupled with fears and anxieties, especially of the future. We wonder and ask ourselves, “Does God hear our cries?” “Is our hope gone?” With so much disappointments and uncertainties, where is our true hope?
