Open Roads, New Opportunities in Myanmar
With Myanmar developing rapidly, the roads are open for us to share God’s Word and love with its people. The growth of Internet services and print capabilities give us new opportunities to reach out to more people, digitally and in print. Our Myanmar and Kayin websites, mobile app, and social media have enabled us to reach out to not only believers in Myanmar but also to those living in North America and Australia.
New Needs, New Challenges
Believers across Myanmar are in urgent need of biblically-based, Christ-centred resources to help them hold on firmly to the truths of God’s Word in the face of false teaching and modern distractions, and to grow deeper in their faith.
Distribution of resources outside Yangon, however, remains a challenge because of rising costs and the logistical and postal systems. But God is opening doors for Our Daily Bread Ministries to make the life-changing wisdom of His Word available and accessible to more people across Myanmar. He is calling us to produce and share:
• Devotional and biblical resources to help Christians grow deeper in their faith.
• Evangelistic materials that reach out to people in their time of need.
• Discipleship materials with local churches and the Christian community in Myanmar.
