1. Administrative Assistant

Job Descriptions:

1. Office Administration

  • Handle the incoming / outgoing calls
  • Provide day-to-day administrative support / office operations
  • Manage and report on the sales / donations
  • Maintain an efficient office filing system
  • Attend and handle requests from readers and churches
  • Possess good customer service and attend to any walk-in inquiries
  • Handle petty cash
  • Handle the incoming and outgoing mails/parcels
  • Assist with packing books/materials
  • Assist in stock-takes

2. BM Work

  • Coordinate and follow up BM editorial work with freelancers and volunteers
    (translation, proofreading, audio, articles, graphics).
  • Manage scheduling and honorarium payments.
  • Scheduling daily Pedoman Harian posts on Facebook and Instagram.
  • Upload daily readings, insights, images, and audio to the Pedoman
    Harian website.
  • Manage daily WhatsApp distribution and respond to messages.
  • Create tracking code for daily WhatsApp postings.

Job Requirements:

  • Candidate must possess at least Diploma/Degree in any field
  • Required language(s): English & Bahasa Malaysia. Proficiency in other languages, especially Chinese would be advantageous.
  • Required Skill(s): Communication skills, interpersonal skills
  • Possess knowledge in using Microsoft Office
  • At least 2 Year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position
  • Preferably Junior Executive specialized in Clerical/Administrative Support or equivalent
  • Must willing to work at Sabah Theological Seminary, Kota Kinabalu
  • Possess own transport

2. Finance Executive

Job Descriptions:

  • Handle full set of accounts and report monthly financial statements to management.
  • Manage day-to-day accounting operations including invoices, payments, cash book, monthly bank and debtors reconciliation, and other accounting tasks.
  • Ensure all accounting records are accurately updated and reconciled in the accounting system.
  • Liaise with bankers, auditors, tax agents, company secretary, and other statutory bodies.
  • Perform reconciliation of inter-country balances and ensure timely resolution of discrepancies.
  • Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and analyze actual performance against budget and prior year.
  • Prepare and present financial reports, analyses, and insights during board meetings.
  • Monitor compliance and support the implementation of financial policies, procedures, and internal controls.
  • Assist in cash flow management and fund planning.
  • Respond to ad-hoc duties and requests from management as delegated.

Job Requirements:

  • Knowledge of financial and accounting procedure.
  • Computer literate and competent in Microsoft Office.
  • Preferable with at least 3 years of relevant working experience.
  • Candidate must possess at least a Diploma or Degree certificate in Accounting or equivalent education level.
  • Good command of written and spoken English, Bahasa Malaysia and Mandarin will be added advantage.
  • Mature, able to work independently and self-motivated.
  • Must willing to work in Permas City.
  • Able to start work immediately or within short notice period will be an added advantage.

3. Logistic Executive

Job Descriptions:

  • Responsible for daily activities of the warehouse, including loading, unloading, receiving, maintenance and inventory.
  • Handle administrative works related to warehousing activities and ministry services.
  • Liaise and follow through with transporter/courier service providers for delivery and shipment.
  • Picking and packing orders/requests.
  • System update and keeping records of stock.
  • Coordinate and support volunteers and their work.
  • Work as reader/member services.
  • Assist stock-take.

Job Requirements:

  • Required skill(s): know to handle forklift will take as an advantage, stock management, moving stock around by hand and having suitable physical conditions.
  • Required language(s): Bahasa Malaysia, English
  • Possess knowledge in using Microsoft Office.
  • At least 2 Year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position
  • Applicants must be willing to work in Permas City.
  • Preferably Non-Executives specializing in Logistics/Inventory & Warehouse Management or equivalent.

4. Web Designer

Job Descriptions:

  • Design and create relational database schemas
  • Design digital assets, testing and optimising based on performance
  • Revise, improve and maintain our organisation websites as required
  • Design visual imagery for websites and ensure they are in line with branding
  • Able to communicate design ideas via user flows, process flows, sitemaps and wireframes
  • Collaborate with other teams to define requirements, come up with design solutions, and contribute expertise for digital products

Job Requirements:

  • Must be web-savvy and understand current web design trends
  • Proficient with digital design tools ie. Adobe Creative Suites and Sketch
  • Working knowledge of CSS, HTML and JavaScript
  • Awareness of UI/UX principles and strong design skills
  • Photo and video editing skills would be an advantage
  • Strong organisational skills to juggle multiple tasks within timeline and budget
  • Strong and varied portfolio showing design capabilities for different audiences
  • Demonstrated ability to take a project from concept to launch
  • Keen learner of current digital design best practices and web production techniques
  • Attention to detail with a high degree of accuracy
  • Ability to communicate in English, Chinese and BM

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Minimum diploma or basic degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Digital Media or equivalent. Minimum 2 years work experience in related field.
