1. Country Director
Position Summary
We are seeking a dynamic, spiritually mature, and mission-driven Country Director to provide strategic leadership and operational oversight for Our Daily Bread Ministries in Malaysia. Reporting to the Assistant Vice President for Asia Pacific Ministry Operations, the Country Director will ensure the ministry thrives through effective staff leadership, sound financial stewardship, and alignment with the ethos and values of ODBM.
Key Responsibilities
1. Strategic and Operational Leadership
- Lead ministry operations to ensure alignment with ODBM’s mission, vision, and global strategic direction.
- Work closely with the AVP to shape and execute ministry strategy and manage risks and opportunities.
- Ensure compliance with local laws, ODBM policies, and global operational standards.
2. Human Capital Development
- Foster a culture of spiritual maturity, teamwork, and excellence.
- Lead, mentor, and develop staff according to their God-given gifts and talents.
- Promote open communication and staff engagement across the ministry.
3. Office and Resource Management
- Oversee smooth daily operations, including finance, inventory, and ministry service delivery (print and digital).
- Ensure proper stewardship of ministry resources and compliance with approved budgets and plans.
- Ensure compliance with local laws, ODBM policies, and global operational standards.
4. Project and Content Oversight
- Manage and implement ministry projects effectively using appropriate tools and systems.
- Oversee local content development and digital strategies aligned with global content philosophy.
5. Communication and Reporting
- Maintain open, timely, and transparent communication with AVP, team members, and appropriate regional or global stakeholders.
- Communicate promptly on any operational, legal, or reputational concerns.
6. Spiritual and Ethical Leadership
- Lead by example in faith, prayer, and godly living.
- Cultivate a ministry environment characterized by dependence on God and interdependence among staff.
Qualifications and Experience
- A committed follower of Jesus Christ with a deep understanding of Scripture and alignment with ODBM’s values and statement of faith.
- Proven leadership experience in a senior management role, preferably in a ministry or nonprofit environment.
- Demonstrated ability to manage people, finances, projects, and partnerships effectively.
- Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to navigate cross-cultural environments and collaborate within a global team structure.

2. Warehouse cum MS Assistant
Job Descriptions:
- Responsible for daily activities of the warehouse, including loading, unloading, receiving, maintenance and inventory.
- Handle administrative works related to warehousing activities and ministry services.
- Liaise and follow through with transporter/courier service providers for delivery and shipment.
- Picking and packing orders/requests.
- System update and keeping records of stock.
- Coordinate and support volunteers and their work.
- Work as reader/member services.
- Assist stock-take.
Job Requirements:
- Required skill(s): know to handle forklift will take as an advantage, stock management, moving stock around by hand and having suitable physical conditions.
- Required language(s): Bahasa Malaysia, English
- Possess knowledge in using Microsoft Office.
- At least 2 Year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position
- Applicants must be willing to work in Permas City.
- Preferably Non-Executives specializing in Logistics/Inventory & Warehouse Management or equivalent.

3. Church Ministries Lead/ Director
Job Descriptions:
1. Churches & Partnerships
- Network, collaborate and build partnerships with churches, seminaries and other Christian organizations to introduce, distribute, use Our Daily Bread Ministries resources (print and digital) or to co-create together, as well as to encourage prayer, financial, volunteers support for Our Daily Bread Ministries
- Communicate with churches and partners through annual CM newsletter, and constant, on-going updates of projects, resources, focus areas, prayer needs, etc
- Together with the Country Director to strategize the Church Ministry (CM) department’s engagement and development in Malaysia.
- Craft the annual work plans and monitor the implementation of programs for CM
- Create an annual budget and monitor the expenses of the CM Department
- Lead the direction, organizing and coordination of Bible Conferences, Bible Teachings, workshops and other church ministry/ partnership events
- Recruit, develop and manage CM department’s staff
- Work with the CM team to ensure administrative matters and reporting for CM are timely, complete and accurate, e.g. CM Public Event reports, donations report, contacts update (in Salesforce), etc.
- Work with teams from other departments to support their scope of work for the betterment of the ministry and to tap into their knowledge and skills to assist with CM department’s needs
- Represent Our Daily Bread Ministries to preach, present, speak and attend various invitations from churches and other organizations
- Contribute actively and intentionally in carrying out roles and responsibilities for the overall Our Daily Bread Ministries MY ministry in the capacity of a Team Lead
- Be a spiritual shepherd for the rest of the Our Daily Bread Ministries Malaysia staff
2. Outreach
- Develop the outreach strategy in Malaysia
- Develop/ conduct recruitment of Outreach Partners and Christian Neighbour
- Monitoring the implementation of Outreach Ministry and Christian Neighbour programs
- Maintain relationships with Outreach Partners and Christian Neighbour through regular visits, telephone, email as well as sharing letters.
- Organize Outreach Partner and Christian Neighbour meetings
3. Any other tasks as and when required by supervisor.
Job Requirements:
- Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree. Preferably to be ordained or have theological background, with at least 10 years work experience
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Able to write and communicate well in English. Ability to speak Mandarin and BM is a plus
- Must willing to work in Klang Valley and to travel for engagements throughout Malaysia

4. Content Strategy & Marketing Lead – English language
Job Descriptions:
- Develop and implement content strategy (print and digital) for Our Daily Bread’s Malaysian English-speaking audiences
- Craft, research, prioritise and develop the content and its delivery/ distribution throughout the targeted customer path-to-purchase/ loyalty journey.
o Resources are leveraged, adapted, translated from global or regional offices as well as developing and acquiring local content/ writers.
o Delivery & distribution of resources includes digital and physical channels - Initiate English-language campaigns and collaborate with Digital Marketing and Production/ Editorial teams to achieve content goals and calendar
- Review content to be consistent with ODB’s statement of faith, brand voice and content philosophy
- Responsible for metrics related to English-speaking audiences including targeted reach and conversions
Job Requirements:
- Excellent English language proficiency and written skills for online and print
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- See the bigger picture and connect the dots to see and analyse patterns
- Planning and organising
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree. Preferably to have theological studies exposure and background
- At least 5-7 years of experience in marketing, communications or strategy roles

5. Web Designer
Job Descriptions:
- Design and create relational database schemas
- Design digital assets, testing and optimising based on performance
- Revise, improve and maintain our organisation websites as required
- Design visual imagery for websites and ensure they are in line with branding
- Able to communicate design ideas via user flows, process flows, sitemaps and wireframes
- Collaborate with other teams to define requirements, come up with design solutions, and contribute expertise for digital products
Job Requirements:
- Must be web-savvy and understand current web design trends
- Proficient with digital design tools ie. Adobe Creative Suites and Sketch
- Working knowledge of CSS, HTML and JavaScript
- Awareness of UI/UX principles and strong design skills
- Photo and video editing skills would be an advantage
- Strong organisational skills to juggle multiple tasks within timeline and budget
- Strong and varied portfolio showing design capabilities for different audiences
- Demonstrated ability to take a project from concept to launch
- Keen learner of current digital design best practices and web production techniques
- Attention to detail with a high degree of accuracy
- Ability to communicate in English, Chinese and BM
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Minimum diploma or basic degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Digital Media or equivalent. Minimum 2 years work experience in related field.
