Have you been struggling lately to make sense of the world around you? The news of the pandemic fills our mobile and television screens, and its hard-to-find hope amidst the rolling dark clouds of death and uncertainty. Psalm 18: 28 says “You, Lord, keep my lamp burning; my God turns my darkness into light.” Now more than ever we need the light of God’s word to keep our lamps burning so that we do not give in to loneliness or despair. Now more than ever we are looking for hope, a light that pierces through this thick veil of darkness, the kind of light that comes only from the power of God’s Word. So, as you gain glimpses of hope through the lips of these servants of God, may you find the strength to endure even amidst this storm.

Glimpses of Hope – Ps. Crispus Chelladurai

As the pandemic rages around us and we are surrounded by death and disease, God alone is our refuge and strong tower. His Word strengthens us and He alone is able to keep us safe. Ps. Crispus Chelladurai encourages us to place our trust in God and His promise in Psalm 91 and to pray with faith for His help.

Glimpses of Hope – Ps. Joseph Naveen

We are all living in terrible times filled with uncertainty. The suffering and pain that we all go through are not unique. The entire world is struggling with this pandemic. The scripture says in 1 Corinthians 1:13 “No temptation has overtaken you except what is common to mankind. And God is faithful; he will not let you be tempted beyond what you can bear. But when you are tempted, he will also provide a way out so that you can endure it.” In the midst of this crisis let us all turn to the faithfulness of God and he will strengthen us and give us grace and comfort.

Glimpses of Hope – Ps. Cecil Clements

Many of us are going through extremely difficult times in our lives. We have either lost our beloved ones or caring for those who are suffering because of the pandemic. What do we do or how do we cope up in a situation like this? The scripture says in Galatians 6:9 “ Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up.” This is a time for us not to give up and come before God to pray and not give up.

Glimpses of Hope – Ps. John Simeon

The second wave of Covid-19 is back and much more deadly than what we all have previously experienced. How do we cope up in this situation? Is there a purpose in this pandemic? The scripture says in Romans 8:28 “And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose.” So let us be humble, understand His purpose and learn from the situation. Let us follow the covid norms and encourage others to be responsible citizens. Let us experience His purpose even in the midst of suffering.
