QUALITY ASSURANCE CONTRACTOR
Summary:
Responsible for quality assurance of new and/or updated Our Daily Bread University courses, ensuring that all assigned material meets ODBU quality standards and is ready for publication on ODBU LMS systems.
What You’ll Do:
- Review course blueprints to ensure alignment between learning objectives and learning activities as well as proofreading text.
- Conduct thorough user testing of a completed course in the LMS to ensure functionality, accessibility, ease of use, and accuracy.
- Check each assigned course for functional and editorial adherence to ODBU quality standards as specified in the Style Guides for various programs.
- Document all technical issues or recommended revisions in the required tools provided.
- Notify supervisor promptly when any questions arise during QA reviews.
- Deliver QA reviews within required timelines.
What You Need to Get the Job Done
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Adobe Acrobat, and Google Suite products.
- Ability to effectively utilise project management tools (preferably Asana).
- Proficient in correct usage of English language, spelling, and grammar.
- Familiarity with biblical and theological terminology and style conventions.
- Familiarity with website navigation and functionality.
- Understanding of accessibility standards and accommodations.
- Knowledge of online instructional technologies and instructional design.
- Excellent written communication and proofreading skills
- Excellent time management skills.
- Strong critical thinking and problem solving skills.
