PROGRAM DEVELOPER – LEAD (Our Daily Bread University)
Summary:
Our Daily Bread University (ODBU) provides affordable Bible-focused classes for anyone who is interested in gaining a deeper knowledge of God’s Word. The online programs that ODBU offers include accredited and non-accredited programs as well as a number of self paced stand alone courses on interesting topics such as Leadership, Prayer Basics, Apologetics Women in Ministry, and much more. We are looking for a committed program development lead – ODBU who can help us with the effective functioning and marketing of these online offerings.
What You’ll Do:
- Develop partnerships with churches, denominations, missions organizations and other like-minded groups to offer the programs and courses through ODBU India
- Monitor student progress and engagement, intervening where necessary to provide support or resources.
- Review courses and modules for contextual accuracy and translation fidelity
- Oversee the implementation and functionality of educational technologies in conjunction with ODBU International
- Assist in marketing online courses to potential students through various channels like social media, webinars, and email campaigns.
- Provide information and updates about the available courses to interested parties.
- Prepare and maintain reports on course performance, student progress, and other metrics and participate in regular meetings with colleagues in other offices globally
- Work closely with the ODBU International office and with other departments in ODBM India to ensure that all aspects of the online course are well-coordinated.
What You Need to Get the Job Done
- Masters in any discipline with 3-5 years of experience in customer relations, sales and marketing, education and/or teaching or other relevant fields. A theological degree would be an added advantage.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to discern the abilities of a prospective student.
- Good “EQ” with a pleasing personality
- Ability to work across international and national boundaries by bridging language gaps.
- Commitment to deadlines and target focussed.
- Willingness to work flexible hours including some evenings and early mornings for International meetings
- Proficiency in English and at least 2-3 Indian languages is an added advantage.
- Computer Literacy : Knowledge in MS Office and G-suite are mandatory, Adobe packages would be an added advantage. Knowledge and use of Learning Management Systems (LMS) will be advantageous.
