The Head – Digital Growth & Engagement provides senior strategic leadership for the organization’s digital presence, marketing, and communications. This role is responsible for setting vision, strategy, and direction for all digital initiatives, ensuring alignment with the organization’s mission, brand, and ministry objectives. Digital Growth & Engagement Head leads teams, shapes cross-functional collaboration, oversees performance and innovation, and ensures excellence across all digital touchpoints.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Set and lead the overall digital ministry, marketing & communications strategy across platforms and audiences.
  • Drive long-term planning, innovation, and prioritization of digital initiatives aligned with ministry and organizational goals.
  • Identify opportunities for audience growth, community building, and digital engagement via digital platforms.
  • Represent digital strategy in senior-level discussions, creative planning, and cross-departmental initiatives.
  • Establish scalable workflows, governance frameworks, quality benchmarks, and best practices across digital functions.
  • Provide thought leadership in digital outreach, learner engagement, and faith-based digital communication.
  • Provide vision and guidance on emerging digital trends and mentor team on digital best practices, campaign execution, and engagement strategies.
  • Lead and govern digital advertising strategy (Google Ads, Meta Ads), SEO, website optimization, and audience growth initiatives.
  • Establish workflows, timelines and quality benchmarks for digital deliverables.
  • Support cross departmental initiatives by providing strategic digital guidance and creative direction.

 


What You Need to Get the Job Done

  • Master’s degree in marketing, Communications, Digital Media, Business, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 8 + years of experience in digital marketing, digital communications, or content strategy, including senior leadership responsibility.
  • Demonstrated experience leading teams, managing vendors/partners, and influencing cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Strong understanding of SEO, SEM, digital advertising, content strategy, and audience engagement.
  • Proven track record of managing and optimizing paid campaigns and digital budgets at scale.
  • High proficiency with analytics and performance tools (Google Analytics, Search Console, marketing platforms).
  • Strategic thinking combined with strong execution and decision-making skills.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and leadership communication skills.
