Job Description
The Finance & Administration Manager’s main responsibilities are to manage overall day to day accounting and financial procedures and administration. In this growing and diverse role, you will also be required to assist and manage the corporate governance and compliance requirements of the ministry. We are looking for someone with a hands-on approach who is willing to get involved with the day-to-day functions as and when required.
Responsibilities
- Overall day to day accounting and financial procedures and processes
- Preparation of monthly financial reporting, analysis, and month end management reporting
- Closing year-end financial reporting
- BAS and PAYG lodgements
- Budgeting preparation
- Monthly payroll
- Stakeholder management of key suppliers
- Provide administrative support to human resource functions.
- Office admin and HR support
- Oversee corporate governance where necessary.
- Ensure any day-to-day requirements are met.
- Perform other duties as required.
- Manage annual audit process
- Prepare and manage and present at AGM and board meeting.
- Supervising 2-3 staff
About You
- You live according to Christian Principles and participate in a Christian mainstream church environment.
- CPA qualified or vocational or tertiary qualification in finance, business, or related discipline.
- 3-5 years’ experience in a similar role
- People management experience.
- Advanced computer skills, proficiency in MS Office Suite
- Exceptional problem-solving skills and excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Proactive approach, ability to multitask, good time management skills.
- Ability to work unsupervised with great attention to detail.
