Mother’s Day is a reminder to reflect on the love we’ve received since the day we were born, and to show our appreciation for the person who has never stopped loving us. It’s a day to celebrate all that our mothers have done for us.

It has special meaning to Grace and Joshua. When their mother suffered a traumatic brain injury, their roles were reversed, and the siblings learned to care for their mum. For Grace and Joshua, Mother’s Day takes place every day: as they help their mum with her daily routine, they are reminded that this is how she took care of them.

A mother’s love is a reflection of God’s perfect love for each one of us. This Mother’s Day, let us remember that God loves us with a boundless, everlasting love that is even greater than what a parent has for his or her child. As you appreciate and celebrate your mother’s love this season, we pray that you will spend time reflecting on God’s infinite love for you.

To help you reflect on the love of God, we’d like to offer you a digital copy of the Discovery Series resource, God is Love. In this resource, Oswald Chambers reflects on the character of God.

You can download your copy [here].
